I must say

It has been a while

I seemed to have lost my way

For my pen was in exile

The time that has been lost

Cannot be recovered

But once again, our paths have crossed

Please listen to what I've discovered

My time away has told me this

You must not lose sight of what you love

Because it will make you feel bliss

Reach for your dreams high above

Don't get me wrong

It was hard to keep in sight

But if your love for something is strong

It is worth putting up a fight

My work may not be very good

Lacking structure, organization and such

But I shall write until I am understood

Because I love it very much
